Japan's "hawker centre"
We had our lunch in a Japanese's "hawker center". The food is cheap and good. The place is relatively clean. It is self-service and you return your meal trays and clean the table after your meal. This is the way the Japanese keep their eateries clean and tidy. The ramen is 320 Yen or about S$4 and the Korean bibimbap is $6. The food is nice and better than those in the restaurants.
The autumn weather is comfortable. It is a sunny day with the temperature hovering around 16c.

How many kilometers did Jesus and family walked ?
When I walked 2 to 3 km a day, I thought it was a big deal. But when I read that Joseph and Mary, the parents of Jesus walked a distance of about 140 km in 6 days from Nazareth to Bethlehem to register themselves, I felt humbled. Mary who was 9 month pregnant with baby Jesus made it all the more amazing.
More than a week after Jesus was born, the family made a journey on foot to Egypt, a distance of a few hundred kilometers to avoid Jesus being killed by King Herod.
They stayed in Egypt for a while and after Herod died, they walked back to Nazareth another few hundred kilometers.
Jesus travelled from his home in Galilee to Jerusalem at least 3 times a year for the Passover and other festivals. In his lifetime, Jesus travelled a distance of about 21,500 miles or 34,400 km which is equivalent to the distance of around the world! All the travels were on foot.
