Dessert at Saizeriya + dinner at home
Afternoon dessert at Saizeriya. The topmost picture is the iced tiramisu ($4.90) and the second picture is the oreo cheese cake ($3.90). The latter tasted better than the tiramisu.
I noticed the ex-IFS is no longer working at Saizeriya. Perhaps, he could not cope with the robust work due to his age (67) and was asked to leave. Poor chap.

Saizeriya lunch again
The above plus free flow of soft drinks and hot beverages cost $15.80c which is very reasonable. The food is not really outstanding but for the prices, one can't complain. Service is as usual very good.
I noticed that an ex-IFS is now working as a service/kitchen crew. We didn't speak as he was very busy. However, the pay is atrocious ($1,650 per month). When he was an IFS he was probably paid $7,000 a month.

Saizeriya @ Seletar Mall
We visited Seletar Mall last evening and was pleasantly surprised to discover that Saizeriya, a low cost Japanese restaurant has opened since last Friday. Although we weren't hungry, we decide to try some of the food for the fun of it. We ordered a spaghetti bolognese ($3.90) and a Milano doria (baked rice $4.90). The food was quite good considering the low prices. We have dined at Saizeriya Km One and Hougang One Mall a couple of times.
At around 6 pm, the restaurant was packed and there was a long queue outside. We left after eating our food so the other customers could have our seats.
Prices are nett as reflected on the menu
Saizeriya has 1,300 outlets in Asia including Japan. In S'pore alone, it has 21 outlets. It is famous for its low cost good quality food as well as its clean restaurants.

Lunch @ Saizeriya again
We were so satisfied with the food, pricing and service that we returned to Saizeriya again this afternoon. This time, I ordered the Spaghetti Oglio Olio with bacon and broccoli with lots of cheese (bottom pic $7.90). It was yummy as usual. My wife had the Chicken Doria set ($6.90). The salad came with the meals and we also had the hot milo (free flow). Enjoy isn't just the description. In fact, we loved everything about Saizeriya, ambience and all!

Lunch @ Saizeriya
Saizeriya is a chain of pasta and western food restaurants owned by a Japanese. The food is good and prices are affordable. The set lunch my wife and I had was a reasonable $14.80 nett. It also offers free flow of hot beverages and cold drinks for the set lunch plus a plate of chilled fresh salad. It has a ala carte menu as well as student and kids menu. We visited the Saizeriya at Hougang One mall.
