Snacks and titbits in Japan

In Japan there are plenty of snacks like potato chips, cream puffs etc. The chips come in many varieties and cheap too. Take for example the spicy chips (126 gm) is less than S$2. The cream puffs are sweet and soft and cost 50 cents each. I love the egg and chicken sandwiches ($3). The bread for the sandwiches are tender and soft.
If you love eating, Japan is a good place to be in. I've since gained 3 kilos since living in Japan.

Government handing out cash to its citizens

Due to the adverse impact of the Covid19 on the Japanese, the government  is giving out 300,000 Yen (S$4,000) to each household in the coming months. This is a welcomed move but not all households will qualify for the cash handout. Only those who had their income reduced and facing hardship will qualify for it.
The government will work out the details and announce it when it is ready.

Japanese dinner at home

This is sole fish which I had for dinner. The orange thing is mentai or Japanese fish roe. Also on the menu is fried mixed vegetables and furikake or Japanese seasoning made of chopped veggies and dried fish.
In short my dinner is washoku or Japanese food.
