Portable gas cooker

Bought a portable gas cooker (S$24) and had sabu sabu at home. We decided on buying the gas cooker because our kitchen cooker is running on electricity. Just in case of a power failure, we can still cook using the gas cooker.

Good idea. Do blackouts happen in Japan? It is so rare in Singapore.

Blackouts do happen in Japan once in a while. Sometimes
the powerline may be struck by a fallen tree or typhoon etc
causing a blackout. In SG the cable is buried underground.
