Dirty coffee from Vietnam

Had my fix of the real kway chup at Tampines rather than the one at Ang Mo Kio. The latter contained more fish cake than pig's intestines and skin which has lots of collagen.

Ikea, a comfy place to camp

These 2 men were seen (top one was sleeping and bottom watching video with Ikea free wifi) at the Ikea chairs/sofa section with disregard to would-be customers who were waiting to test the chairs.
Well the above happened in Singapore but if left unchecked, it may be like the people in China who were seen sleeping and camping in Ikea (pic below).

After a hearty meal of kway chup which made us feel guilty (pig's intestine, stomach etc), we headed home and cooked some veggies to supplement our fibreless and vitaminless kway chup.

I was at East Coast Food Village last night to lend support to my busker friend. At the same time I tried the fried Hokkien and char siew noodles. The 2 dishes were quite tasty and cost $4 each.

Back to "My Kampong" for the above chicken char siew noodles ($3.80). It's just so so and would not recommend my readers. Char siew should be roasted pork instead of chicken but then this  a "Halal" certified joint which mean the Muslims can also eat.

This laksa (chicken) is as good as the 928 Yishun laksa except that it is sold at Seletar Mall which is airconditioned and comfortable. Yes, it is more expensive that 928 but it came with chicken meat.
928 is at $3.30 whereas this one is $4.50 but in larger portion. Sorry I forgot to mention that the laksa was from a chicken rice stall called "My Kampong".
