Nasi Lemak & Potato Curry Puff/SCDF/ Muhammad Ali

We were at Changi Cargo Terminal to export something early in the morning. After completing our assignment, we stopped by Changi Village again to try the International Nasi Lemak which we missed the day before. This time they have not open for business as it was too early (about 6 am). Most of the stalls were closed except for one which I can't recall the name. This nasi lemak stall was along the same row as International but right at the far end nearer to the bus interchange.
In our opinion, the nasi lemak (above) was the best, at least the rice which was aromatic and fragrant. The fried fish was average. The sambal was quite good although a little watery. They also sell curry potato and sardine puffs for a dollar per piece.
Like I said before, we would not go out of the way to try this type of mediocre nasi lemak.

SCDF's fire engines near my place

There was a flurry of activities next to my block of flats when I got home this afternoon. Apparently, one of the units had its cooking gas leaking and the firemen were there to help. In fact, there was no fire or emergency. In a matter of minutes, the SCDF people left the scene.
