Left for Chong Pang market in the late morning to do a bit of marketing and had chicken rice lunch. These days the fruits and veggies are quite expensive even in the heartland like Chong Pang. The green papaya is $2.30 which is at least 80c more than the ones at Ang Mo Kio. The Jack fruit is at $6 per kilo.
Must admit the chicken rice was very good. We ordered half of a chicken and it was only $12. A plate of chicken rice was 50c which was reasonable. Besides, the food was superb.

Since the toto first prize was not won in yesterday's draw, the jackpot prize is now at $7 million plus. The draw will be on this coming Monday and I will place a small bet on it.
The last jackpot prize of $8 million was won by a single ticket. Each ticket cost $1 and I will spend $10 on this coming draw. I hope to strike it and if I do I will tell you about it.

Jack Fruit from Chong Pang Market

Jack fruit is hard to come by these days. Only a few stalls at Chong Pang Market are selling it. It is supposed to reduce blood pressure and cure some other illnesses. All those in the above cost $4 which is worth the money. Lastly, it is sweet and has a pleasant taste.
