Japanese supermarkets in Fukuoka
My wife who is in Fukuoka sent me these photos (below). Rate of exchange is about 86 Yen to S$1.00. Therefore, the sushi you see in the top picture is about Yen 400 which when converted into S$ is about S$4.60. The price is really cheap compared to the ones sold in S'pore supermarkets. The second picture is the sashimi which cost between Yen 398 and 480. As for the quality I think these are better and fresher than even the ones sold in the restaurants in Singapore.
