My wife made the nasi lemak accompanied by the fishes that I caught from the jetty. The sambal was brought in from SG. The coconut milk was purchased from a Japanese supermarket. The nasi lemak was delicious but could have been better if we had used Thai rice instead of Japanese rice which was a little sticky.

Must be a lovely dish cooked by wife. Taste of home. Amazing you can fish from jetty there! In Sg we've few places to hook lunch :)
It's an honor to have you not only visited my blog but
to leave a nice comment Mr Tan.
Yes, sometimes we do miss our local food and fortunately
my wife is a good cook.
Jetty fishing is quite fun but I prefer sea fishing as there are bigger and more fishes.
Hope to "see" you again :)
Hope you will snag a marlin on your deep sea fishing expedition. The ultimate prize.
Btw, I've published my first graphic novel entitled "Nanyang," an adventure romance set in the South China Sea region, digital and paperback on amazon.com. It tells of two fortune seeking brothers, separated by a shipwreck and later reunited, but on opposite sides of the law.
Someday, maybe I may catch a marlin.
"Nanyang" must be an exciting book.
Hope to get a copy soon. I watched the preview
on YouTube and must congratulate you on your
artistic skills.
