We are having lots of rain this summer and little sunlight. Our watermelon and tomato plants are affected badly. Our tomatoes split and the watermelons are bursting with too much rain which has been falling almost daily over the last two weeks. Now we can understand how the weather can affect the livelihoods of farmers.

Uncle bohtong, next year try to plant tomatoes in a big pot then put a plastic cover to give the warmth and sunlight and water yourself. It works better this way. Im a singaporean in norway and i also tried to grow my plants outdoors. Last few year ago i tried growing pumpkin but yes too much rain spoilt it :(
