No drinking and eating in the train

Got this Whatsapp message regarding the restriction of drinking and eating in the train (MRT). Watch the video and you will be surprise how strict is the rule and a commuter was taken to task for eating a sweet.

What else is new in Singapore?

Chew gum oso kennot.

They even decide who lives in those HDB flats. In Malaysia, the government only decides who qualifies for public housing but they allow people of the same race to stay in the same unit or block.

Same goes for public TV, dialect shows common in Malaysian TV (Hokkien,Cantonese,Tamil etc) and vernacular schools still exist.

Malaysian police also don't forbid musical instruments to be played during Thaipusam but in Singapore you can get into trouble for that.

You also have to watch a movie about Singapore in Malaysia because the screening is banned in Singapore (To SG with luv) ! Sigh sigh.

These are only a few examples but you get the picture.

Singapore is way too strict. Feels like you're living in a cocoon.
