Things SIA cabin crew interviewers look for in the candidates:
- Personality
- Steadiness or maturity
- Service minded
- Teamwork
Besides the above qualities if one possesses average attractiveness, good skin and complexion, minimum height (female at least 1.58m and male 1.65m) and minimum educational qualification (at least an O level with credit in English), one should be able to clinch the job.

i got all that, but iam 31 this year do i still have a chance.

I have everything except for the height, I'm 157.7cm tall but it has always been my dream to join SIA, do I still have a chance?
:( Bohtong i know i have the qualities that make as a crew i just dont understand why. Age is just a number iam not 61 or 51 but still. Is there a way u can put in a good word for me to join as cabin crew.
You must be at least 158 cm if you are a female otherwise SQ will not employ you as a stewardess.
As long as SIA could still find younger girls why should they employ a 31 year old?
Iam 177cm 31 year old male went for the interview since i was 28 :( tis is unfair
Try Emirates, Qatar, Etihad or BA lah.. no need to give up your dream. The crew there are good-looking too, only difference is many have blonde hair and blue eyes.
