The passenger molested the stewardess after a couple of drinks and to be fair the airlines was partly to blame. Why give him 4 glasses of whisky in one go? Aren't the crew supposed to only serve 1 drink at a time to each passenger?
On one hand you enticed the passenger with free booze and on the other hand you complain when he touches you.
Anyway, I know of many stewardesses who were molested but most did not report. They took it as "occupational hazard". Of course if the drunk assaults the crew or poses a danger to the well-being of the other passengers and the airplane then he should be reported.
The 9 months jail is a strong deterrence to the passengers to think twice before touching the girls in Singapore

When it comes to the sub-continents never give them anything thats is free or anything that has liquor. This creatures tend to over consume it just look at what happened to little India. Its the hard truths thinking other wise your only deluding yourself.
