I bought another 5 more (eaten one already) tapai ubi or fermented tapioca at the pasar malam today.
I had 2 yesterday and they were so good.
I also had a packet of mee goreng at the same night market. Don't be deceived by the presentation of the mee goreng or fried noodles because it was really fantastic. My wife ate it too and were impressed with the taste.

Tapai or fermented tapioca
This is Tapai or fermented tapioca. It is rarely found in Singapore. Tapai juice taste like sweet wine or a bit like the Japanese rice sake. You may find it the 1950s and 60s but not these days. I love tapai and had not tasted one since I was a kid. I found it at a pasar malam and gladly bought 2 for $2.
You may also eat the yummy fermented tapioca.

Bar-cho-mee @ 205D, Compassvale Lane
This bar cho mee stall is at 205D (coffee shop), Compassvale Lane, Sengkang. It opens from 4 pm till late and closes on Sunday. The Q is usually long but it is worth the wait. The sauce and the minced meat are out of this world. It is better than my favourite at 446, Jalan Kayu. Besides it is cheaper than @ 446 by 20 cents ($3.30). Some days, the hawkers close the stall at their whims and fancies. I supposed the husband and wife team have made enough money that do not intend to work hard anymore.

McDonald's Nasi Lemak Burger
The nasi lemak burger by McDonald's has made a comeback. I didn't try it earlier but since its return, I have eaten it no less than 3 times. I must say this is the best burger I've eaten in Singapore. Since it is very popular, I understand that Burger King is also following McDonald's footstep by adding the nasi lemak burger in its menu.
I usually have the burger without the additions i.e. no fries or drinks etc. The bugger alone cost $6 which is worth it.
