It's Ponggul Nasi Lemak again

Breakfast was at Ya Kun Kaya. Toast Box was quite full and seating uncomfortable. Ya Kun Kaya's seats were more comfortable as compared to Toast Box although the kopi O was inferior. Had the kaya/butter toast set which cost $4.80. The other thing good about Ya Kun was that the staff would crack the soft boiled eggs for you whereas at Toast Box, you have to do it yourself. Sorry no photos from Ya Kun.
Lunch was nasi lemak at Jalan Besar. As usual, the food was excellent. No parking issue except that don't forget to use your parking coupon. In fact, this afternoon we witnessed 2 cars being issued tickets for not displaying parking coupons.

Dinner @ Punggol Nasi lemak, Jalan Besar

Yesterday, I was with a friend at Punggol Nasi Lemak, Jalan Besar. Today, I brought my wife to the same place. I took more pictures of the place and decided to post them over here.
Together we spent $16 on the nasi lemak with fried sambal long beans, fishes, ikan billis with peanuts, eggs, chicken wing and chicken thigh.
Though a bit expensive, the quality of the food was very good and worth the money we've spent. The place is liken to a McDonald's restaurant, clean and spacious. Another plus point is the place is not crowded at all even on a Sunday.
There are ample car park lots along the road as well as nearby. There is no free carparking on Sunday or public holidays. The coupon parking charges are 50 cents for 30 minutes or $1.00 for an hour.

Lunch at home and dinner at Punggol Nasi Lemak

Lunch was home-cooked sambal kangkong, mapo tofu and rice.

Dinner at Punggol Nasi Lemak, Jalan Besar

My ex classmate and I visited another ex classmate's mother wake at Singapore Casket this evening. After the visit, as we were walking along Jalan Besar we saw the Punggol Nasi Lemak joint. This must be the third outlet and so we went inside the half filled cafe. We ordered menu 1 which is the top picture and menu 2. Menu 1 is $4 whereas menu 2 is 30 cents more. We were pleasantly surprise the food was as good as the other 2 outlets. I will definitely visit this place again.
