Cooking Indian fish curry in Japan

The topmost picture was our brunch. We had chicken liver, bamboo shoot, fried eggs, salad, miso soup and rice. The pot of fish curry was cooked by my wife. We brought the spices and seasonings and coconut milk from Singapore. The curry tasted superb although the taste of the fillet fish was flat.
In fact, this is our first time having Indian curry here. I don't quite like the Japanese curry as it is sweet.

There is a newly opened Food Paradise coffee shop at block 417, Fernvale Link (opp H2O Condo). I was there this morning. The kopi and tea are much more expensive than most coffee shops. The kopi/teh O is $1.10 and with milk is $1.20. The service is very very slow as the kopi uncle is old and inexperienced. I had the nasi briyani which is so lousy and expensive ($6 for a fish briyani that is full of fish scales) that I didn't finished eating it.

Fried Hokkien mee brunch & Indian curry rice dinner

The fried mee stall is at the Jalan Kayu area (block 446 near a Chinese temple). The hawkers are Malaysians and they are pretty skilful at frying the mee as well as the carrot cakes etc.
As for the curry dish, it was at a stall on the 2nd floor of Sheng Shiong Building along Serangoon Ave 4 (not too sure). The above consisted of rice, long beans and curry chicken thigh. Quite good though. The place is air-conditioned too.
