Had half a papaya for my breakfast and home prepared Oyakodon or Japanese chicken and egg rice bowl for late lunch. No dinner for today because I had two McDonald's double cheese burger for last night's dinner. Just have to discipline myself otherwise my weight will shoot up.

Breakfast @ Chong Pang Market & dinner at home

This is the first time I tried the duck porridge at Chuan Kee. It's not as good as the duck rice. It contained a few small pieces of duck meat. The prices range from $3 to $5 a bowl. I had the small bowl. The Jack Fruits and Persimmon fruits are sweet and worth the money spent.

Oyakodon for dinner

Oyakodon (親子丼?), literally "parent-and-child donburi", is a donburi, or Japanese rice bowl dish, in which chicken, egg, sliced scallion (or sometimes regular onions), and other ingredients are all simmered together in a sauce and then served on top of a large bowl of rice. The name of the dish is a poetic reflection of the fact that both chicken and egg are used in the dish.
