Buddy Hoagies in Ang Mo Kio

We were craving for western food and Buddy Hoagies in AMK was the ideal place for us (so we thought). We used to frequent the one at Waterway Point but today we decided to try out their new outlet at Djitsun Mall, AMK.
The food here is not as good as at Waterway and so was the service. On top of that, we were slapped with a 10% service charge. Before this, it wasn't the practice to impose the service charge.
The thing is when you start imposing extra charges which you did not do from the beginning, it will be hard for the customers to swallow (unless your food is so good people don't mind paying more).

Steaks, Cakes set & Nene Chicken

Last night, I was supposed to have steak for my dinner with my friends but it turned out that we had Japanese food instead. Therefore today my wife and I decided to go Waterway Point and have steak for lunch. After the mouth-watering sirloin steaks, we proceeded to Cedele for our desserts and coffee. The cheese cake was as good as the strawberry fields cake. They were both irresistible!
As for dinner, we tried the Korean Nene Chicken. The 3 piece chicken set is $10.90c. I like the fries as they were quite large and hot. Overall, the spicy sauce was sweet and delightful. We will be back soon.

Set lunch at Buddy Hoagies

The set lunch is worth paying for as it is not only inexpensive but the food is delicious and comes in big portion. For $10.90, you will get a main course with a piece of garlic bread and a choice of soup. You will end your meal with either a coffee or a glass of ice lemon tea.
The Buddy Hoagies where we had our lunch was at 83 Punggol Central, #02-22 Water Point, Singapore 828761. Also, they do not include the usual 10% service charge.

Buddy Hoagies@ Waterway Point

You won't believe that we returned so soon to Buddy again for its food just yesterday. The sirloin steak (250 gm) is $21 while the chicken set lunch (came with soup, garlic bread & a drink) $11.
The sirloin wasn't as tender as the rib-eyed I had recently. The set lunch is indeed worth paying.

Lunch at Buddy Hoagies

I would recommend this place for steak especially the Rib Eyed steak (250gm) or the smaller piece (180gm). The former is about $23 and latter $18. They are worth every cent spent. The steaks were tender and juicy and the prices are reasonable. If you are living in the punggol or Sengkang area you may want to visit Buddy Hoagies at Waterway Piont.
